The inspiration and starting point for this original stage composition, which combines speech, song, and dance, are the wonderful carnival tales of Alexandros Papadiamantis. These stories are brought to life through narration as well as live performance, accompanied by songs from an old Athens that celebrated Carnival with serenades, waltzes, polkas, and even “risqué” folk songs.
